Stagecraft Classes – 2019 enrolments happening now!
| Stagecraft 2019 classes start in the week commencing February 11th. There are still places available in both Drama and Musical Theatre classes.
Pre-enrolment forms are available on the website or just turn up to your preferred class (timetable is on the website). $100 per term for Terms 1 -3 only. Discounts available for those families with more than one child attending, and for full year payment.
We have been providing our highly regarded Stagecraft performing arts school for over 15 years.
There are places still available in all our Stagecraft classes which include; music and singing, movement, drama, theatre technology, and aspects of theatre production. Classes cater from 6 year olds up to adults. There are also scholarships (generously funded by Trust Waikato) available. Recommendations for suitable students are currently being sought from schools. Comments from parents and students acknowledge the increase in confidence, self-esteem, performance skills and friendships.
We offer a safe, nurturing and fun environment with professional tutors that work to get the best out of their students.
Some famous people to come out of Stagecraft and Riverlea Theatre are: Jessie Mulligan, comedian, radio and TV personality (‘The Crowd Goes Wild’, 'The Project'); Kimbra, singer and songwriter; and Te Radar, comedian.

This vibrant performing arts school located in a local hub of theatrical activity- Riverlea Theatre- offers students from 4 to 100 years old an exciting range of opportunities to develop dramatic skills and attain theatrical excellence within the atmospheric, fun, stimulating environment of a working theatre. The sessions are facilitated by qualified, experienced theatre practitioners who are all locally renowned experts in the field of performing arts education.
Classes take place on a weekly basis and offer students opportunities in all aspects of theatre including acting, mime, movement, dance, singing ,voice and a range of stage technologies.
The school year consists of three terms and is brought to a close with the performance of the annual Stagecraft production for the wider community.
